Lisa isn't answering my phone calls: and that's okay.
Traffic sucks!!!!!: and that's okay.
I think my dad is an alcoholic: and that's okay.
My partner is a terrible listener: and that's okay.
I hate my body: and that's okay.
To the cynic, it might seem like this approach is passive; and will only encourage more of the same. For the big thinker this will allow him/her to drop the ego's need for a pity-party, and see the issue from a fresh, judgement-free standpoint...
... aka the place where breakthroughs hang out.
Meditation is my favorite way to build this muscle. Five minutes per day of quiet breathing is all it takes for your "operating system" to chemically start rebooting; in order to live a calmer and grander life.
Growth doesn't happen because we push and shove; it happens because we learn how to let go and let be. And if it's taken you years to realize that, guess what, it's okay.
