Whenever I really focus on what it is I want to create, that core feeling I wish to inhabit, I realize that the seeds of that reality were planted many years ago...
From staring off at the dusky mountains from my tiny balcony in Athens, to the warm sense of security that enveloped our family's kitchen; those states of mind are the templates that inform what I seek to share with others and how I wish to spend my life.
It's good to go back and relive the moments that made us feel the warmest, safest, fullest; as those carry the clues to the maze of our future.
Being multi-passionate, I can get lost in my desires and actions --- which is why I would like to invite you to recenter with me, in case you too have been feeling out of alignment lately.
This is a visualization game I learned just yesterday and practiced for the first time this morning :) The purpose of it is to connect you to your core feelings, revive them in your consciousness, and allow them to clear the smog of overwhelm and confusion.
Close your eyes.
Guide yourself inward with a few gentle breaths.
Go to a place where you feel at peace.
See it, hear it, breathe it, sense it.
Absorb every thread of it's image. Let it sink into your minds eye.
Then let your heart sink into the feeling that your mind is producing.
Explore that feeling in your heart.
See yourself; what are you doing in this space?
Allow yourself the liberty to do what feels good to you.
Breathe into this space.
Every breath you take in this space multiplies its healing effect.
When you are drenched in the feeling and space of your choice, you may gently open your eyes.
Don't get up immediately, let it linger for a minute. See what comes up.
For me.... what came up was The Heart of God; the space I started creating ever since I was child; the homey, sacred, creative space where I can foster the beauty of our divinity with those who seek re-connection. A space where I can live and host retreats for those who wish to commune with the Truest part of themselves; all in the glorious mountains, pure flavors, and clear blue waters of Greece.
That is where I'm headed.
That is my happy place.
May you always choose to go back to yours.
